Ok, so my best friend's friend's sister passed away tonight. She was 12 and had osteogenesis imperfecta and numerous immune disorders. She has inspired so many people, including me. I just want to NEVER take life for granted and to show those I love how much I love them. Our time here on this earth is far too short, but if we learn to take life and live it to its fullest, then it is worth it!
Thank you, God, for every person in my life. I have so much to be thankful for and I owe it all to You. You have given me life, and I am choosing to live it for You. I know there are times when I stuggle to remember this, so I pray for guidance and the strength to live above and not conform to a culture so skewed. Thank You for sending Your son to die for our sins, so that we may have life everlasting. Your neverending grace sooo amazes me. AMEN.
So lately I have had many interviews for summer jobs and next year jobs, but none have excited me more than working for a church camp! I interview next Wednesday, and I am really hoping to get the job! I love serving the LORD <3
I probably should be concerned with making money, but in all honestly, the experience of camp is priceless. You can't put a price on friendships that will last a lifetime :)
Thank You, God! <3

Back at it!
Okay, so this is my second attempt to keep a weekly blog on random thoughts and such. So here it goes,
-One thing that has been driving me crazy lately is peoples' comments and disrespect for President Obama. I guess it must be that American's are the hardest people to please because it doesn't seem to matter who the president is; we just choose to bash him. I feel like no one is ever satisfied, but the true kicker here is that people assume that the President can fix all problems. Seriously, before you go on a rant and rave about how horrible of a job he is doing, take a look at the structure of American government. The president does NOT have the power of the purse nor power of the sword. What he spends most of his time doing is persuading Congress to make the decisions that he prefers. That's right, people, CONGRESS HAS THE REAL POWER! *GASP* Who knew? Well not too many Americans do, I guess, considering every two years when congress-men and women are voted in voter turn-out goes wayyy down. We need to educate ourselves, and cut the president some slack because he's a normal person like you and me.
Okay, enough of this political talk..
-God is GREAT! He's an awesome, sovereign God!! I just want to read the Bible and soak it all in bit by bit. All day I have been focusing on Psalm 86:5-"You are forgiving and good, O LORD, abounding in love to all who call you." FORGIVING and GOOD! MMmm that is so satisfying. God loves you and me NO MATTER WHAT, for real. We are His children, made in His image, made for Him, to love Him, and to be loved by Him. How awesome is that?! I want to share this good news with everyone!
-School has been going well this semester. I currently am taking 17 credit hours and am working close to 20 hours a week. It sure keeps me on my toes, and I love it. I am excited for April with I can start my Level II field experience at Malcom Price Lab School (NU High), and I will teach two days in a 7th grade social studies class. I cannot believe being a teacher is within grasp! Praise God!!
-So one thing that has been a major struggle for me these past few years is finding out who my true friends are. I have come to the conclusion that everyone is going to let me down, and I, in turn, will let many people down. Jesus is my best friend! He will never forsake me! Lately, I have been struggling with friendships and such. I have been mending some and letting go of others. It's definitely a difficult battle.
-Later this month Chrysalis team meetings begin and I am sooo looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone. I love serving the Lord and am definitely excited to do it with some AMAZING people. In a little over a month(39 days to be exact), I will be on a plane to Boston to visit my bestest friend everrr! Goodness, I cannot wait!
Okay, that is enough rambling for the day. Goodnight world. God bless. <3

another amazing photo take by Sarah Lichter!! I looove it.
